A Star-Crossed Love Story

She had not noticed how deep green his eyes were until now. She had not noticed how her heart beat faster with just one look of his until now. Why did she feel that way? She had no answer. She only wanted to stay away from this strong feeling. She had fallen deeply in love with someone else and he broke her heart. She had no strength to endure one more heartbreak again. When she realized that, she released his hand holding her bare waist and walked back to the trial room and shut the door before he could react. He watched her in bewilderment with his mouth slightly open to call her back. But he couldn't stop her.  "What happened to her? Why did she run away?" Preeti asked. "I don't know," he replied. Nithya was surprised by the pain she felt when he left suddenly. He was a nobody. They only met thrice. She didn't know him and he didn't know her.
